Classic Safari
Modern hunts are becoming shorter and more pressure is placed on the outcome, it is all too easy for the success of a safari to be measured by the number of animals taken. I believe there is value in taking the time to enjoy being in the bush, working hard to put yourself in the right places and making the most of the opportunities when they come. The aim is to give each hunt/species the time and attention it deserves, rather than allowing the expectation of a result to dictate how it is conducted.
My approach is influenced by the traditions of the old safari. The equipment may have evolved over time, but the fundamentals remain the same, walking, tracking, glassing and spending time in the field, seeing what the bush presents and making the most of the opportunities that come your way. Hunting requires an open mind and a willingness to commit to opportunities when they arise.
The aim is to offer a classic African safari with modern standards, professionally conducted, properly prepared and with enough time to enjoy the experience along the way.
