African Safari - Done Properly.

Robin Fourie Safaris was founded on the belief that a safari should be authentic, fair, and conducted with respect for the wild places that make it possible.

For me, hunting is equally about the experience as it is the outcome. The challenge of pursuing an animal, understanding its behaviour, being immersed in the bush, its sights, sounds, smells and views are what make each hunt memorable.

To me the success of a hunt isn’t measured only by the animal or trophy you bring home, but by the experience and story that stays with you when you look back on it. For me, that is the real trophy. I believe only in fair-chase hunting, ethical conduct and sound conservation principles. Hunting should be challenging, honest and respectful, and the animal should always be given the respect it deserves.

Through Robin Fourie Safaris, my aim is to offer genuine, personal and carefully considered safari experiences. Whether hunting dangerous game up close, pursuing plains game, or spending time in the wilderness away from the rifle, I want every safari experience to be authentic and genuine.

I am particularly passionate about the conservation of wild, free-ranging landscapes and the wildlife they support. Responsible hunting plays a crucial role in keeping these areas economically viable, maintaining habitat, supporting local livelihoods and giving wildlife a tangible value that encourages its protection. Income generated through trophy hunting in many marginalised areas are crucial to the wellbeing of communities, land and wildlife.

For me, integrity matters. I believe in doing things properly. Being honest with clients and in life, respecting the ethics and traditions of hunting, and never compromising the principles of fair chase for the sake of convenience or success.

Every safari is an opportunity and privilege to spend time in some truly remarkable wilderness areas. My goal is to share that experience with clients in a way that leaves them with more than a trophy, but also a passion for Africa, its wildlife and its people.
